Pedro was one of the stars of the show as Chelsea beat
West Brom 3-2, scoring one and assisting another on
his debut before John Terry was shown a red card.
The Spaniard was named in the starting XI, and opened
the scoring after just 19 minutes from the edge of the
area after exchanging a one-two with Eden Hazard, after
James Morrison had missed a penalty Minutes later it
was 2-0 as Pedro’s low, driven pass from 18 yards
found Diego Costa to convert into an empty net.
Morrison then halved the deficit before Cesar
Azpilicueta added a third just before half-time.
An action-pack game did not let up after the break, with
John Terry sent off for bringing down Salomon Rondon
and the Baggies took almost immediate advantage when
Morrison headed in his second goal.
